This is a gorgeous third-generation Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman, designed by Ray & Charles Eames for Herman Miller in the 1950s. This iconic duo (model #670 & #671) are original in every way: from the Brazilian Rosewood shells (marked #883) to the black leather upholstery, down to the aluminum bases and accents.
This pairing is of the third-generation model of the lounger from the early 70s. The original black leather cushions in excellent shape with very little wearing signs. The rosewood has been reconditioned to restore their vibrancy, metal bases and accents have been buffed and polished. Feet, sliders and bases are firm with no wobbling. metal feet/sliders (i.e. Domes of Silence) are in-tact and base pedestal bushings are sturdy/solid (ie. no wobbles).
SHIPPING*** will be shipped in two (2) separate orders. One with the chair/headrest and the other with the ottoman and both bases. Both shipments will require an adult signature, for both our interests as well as being insured. Your purchase receipt will have both tracking numbers and links to follow. Shipping anywhere within the 48 States is a flat fee of $135.00 which handles both shipments, insurance, and signature fees.
